How & Where to Donate
Donation Guidelines
01 Unopened Only
We can only accept food items that are in their original, unopened packaging for safety and sanitation.
02 Within Expiration
Check dates carefully. We cannot distribute items that have passed their manufacturer's expiration or 'best by' date.
03 No Homemade Food
Due to health regulations, we cannot accept homemade dishes, baked goods, or items without nutritional labels.
Donation FAQ
Can I get a tax receipt for my food donations?
Yes, we provide tax receipts for all in-kind donations. Please ask our staff when dropping off your items, and they will provide you with the necessary documentation.
Do you accept fresh or perishable food?
We primarily focus on shelf-stable goods. However, if you have a large donation of fresh produce, please contact us advance so we can ensure we have refrigeration space available.
How can I host a food drive at my school or workplace?
We love community partitions! Please reach out to us by email to receive our food drive toolkit, which includes lists of most-needed items and promotional materials.
